Kamen Rider EXpress: Pilot Episode.

PE: Steam's Up


N: In 2016, a terror attack wipes out oil trade across the world. The new Global Counsel was set forth to protect all of the oil resources left in the world.  The people became angry, and many tried to fight for their oil.  The Oil Wars were waged, but in 2019 a new way to make renewing power as found. Humanity’s energy crisis is ended after great many solar farms were created thanks an element that creates very little heat when exposed to the sun but collects energy well.  After being found in the earth, this miracle substance, dubbed Transelum, became the newest and greatest find in human history.

The Date is 2020…

 

 

It was a peaceful day, busy people going about their busy lives. Unaware of the dangers all about them, until they appear!

 

-Apartment complex-

Random Woman: * walks into her apartment kitchen to find what seems to be a glowing Silver and Purple portal coming from her microwave. She steps close to investigate, only to be thrown back against the wall as a bunch of white-faced monsters crawl out of the portal. 

 

Others portals are appearing and more of the white-faced creatures are arriving. People see this and start to take pictures of the occurrence, but then the monsters start using their blaster arms to shoot at just about anything around them, mostly things that are electrical.  People panic, some try and shoot the monsters, but nothing seems to hurt them.  

 

- Flash to inside hightech base, Alarms ringing. Command Board shows location of disturbance-

Unknown Data Manger: Alert, disturbance in energy grid matching rift creation! Launch Operative 3X now

Uniformed Officer: Roger,  Arrival to Marker 76.32 seconds.

 

-Apartment Complex-

The White-head Monsters advance on  people hadn’t or couldn’t flee. They round up them into the street. One of people captured still has his working phone. He looks up, getting a glimpse of what looks like a larger portal under one of the street lamps. A ripping sound was heard, the portal opening for some strange beastly thing, carrying a big Silver Club. Once out of it, the swirling energies close. The thing makes a grunting growl.

 

 

Ogaren: * Covers his eyes with his free hand* Gruugh, So this Human’s world? Too bright, Ogaren not like.  Make Dark again…

It was that time when the guy’s camera phone goes off as he ties to get a picture of what ever this thing is.  It flashes Ogaren and makes him yelp in anger, staggering back.  He snarls and raises his club.

 

Ogaren: YOU HURT OGERAN, NOW I MAKE THE HURTINGS!!

???: I don’t think he’s worth your time Guy. 

The Monsters and captured people look over at the voice to reveal a teen stepping off of a three-wheeled Motorbike.

???: Your real fight is over here.  Let them go and face me.

Ogaren looks him over, lowering his weapon. Then the monster laughs at the new comer and As if to prove the point he was laughing at, the beast pickups the camera guy and tosses him aside, the poor sap landing in an open refuse container.

Ogaren: You think you better then Ogaren?! You weak like others! Will mak lots of hurts on little man!

 

The teen shook his head and then spoke into the watch on his wrist.

Andrew: Agent 3X here, Contact made and Departure ready. 

Officer: * Over the wrist-com* Roger that, Teleporting Belt Parts to your location.

About his waist, a belt appeared, covered in dials, switches and a control bar on the front. On the side hung what looked like a chain, and underneath was a open space. From a chain about his neck, Andrew takes off what seems to be a silver whistle and plugs it into the opening in the belt. The Creatures look at him, realize whats about to happen and then started to shoot at him! 

Andrew: Arrival On-time...  Hen-shin!


[ Show Break]

 

[ Show returns]

Andrew: Hen-shin!

He tugs on the cord on the belt’s side and the whistle goes off, sending out a sonic shockwave, knocking the monsters back. Behind him, a green energy tunnel materializes and from it, a set of rails that stop under the transforming hero, followed by the shape of a glowing locomotive. It comes up behind Andrew and as it touches him there is a flash of steam and glowing spinning lights.   There is a WHOOSH as the steam blows away and standing there is an armored fighter, His armor green, Gunmetal Grey, and white. On his arms were what looked like pistons, and his chest armor was round like the front if a steam engine.

 

 

Express:  Steam Up, Kamen Rider EXPRESS!  

 

At first the creatures look worried, but Ogaren growls and points a gnarled finger at the rider, shouting for them to tear him limb from limb. Under orders the Whit-heads charge in, shooting arm cannons.

 

Andrew: Here they come.

 

Express move his hand and grabs the control bar on his belt, slides it to the forwards position then flicking the two outside switches, puffs of steam coming from his wrist pistons. As the first of the troops attack, he punches them, knocking them back. 

-

Rider Base- 

An important looking lady walks into the base control center and looks at the fight as it goes on, it seems Andrew was winning. 

Dr Ellouise: How is he coming? 

Data Manger: He’s beaten the golems, Ma’am. Now engaging the Ogre Monster. Power levels holding steady at 93%

Dr Ellouise: Rapidly flux the internal systems of Express’s armor and Reduce belt power by 70%. I want to see his reaction to power failures. 

Data Manger: Understood. Activating.

 

-Apartment Complex-

 Andrew swung a ground sweep at Ogaren who jumped back from it. The brute beat his chest then hefted the silver spike club unto his hand like a spear. With a shout of “DIE!” it was tossed it at the Rider.  Then the Fluxes began. The first thing to go was Andrew’s HUD, leaving him without readouts.  Andrew knows he needs to move and Rolls out of the way as the club hits a car nearby. He stops with a hand on his knee, He trues to turn to get a view on his enemy but then finds the weight balancers had shut off, his armor is weighing him down. Trying to move would be nearly impossible! 

Andrew: Oh... F...

Two hands come crashing down on the Rider's back as Ogaren starts to beat the tartar sauce out of the almost immobile warrior.  With each strike the power gauge went down more and more. 
Andrew: Not... Going to... Let Him BEAT ME.

Mustering his strength, he pushed the control bar to full throttle, then twisted the steam valve on the belt open, with a flash and a whirr things came back online with a boost of power.  Now having freedom of movement again, He struck hard at his attacker then flicked the power switches to send all energy to his legs.

Belt: Ri-rider ready?

Andrew: Hai-Ball!
With a ground trembling jump, he yanked the henshin cord and all the remaining power was sent to his final attack.  Behind him the Green Battle Engine appeared and sped his attack with the force of a falling freight train towards Ogaren.

Andrew: EXpress Rider KICK!!

The Explosion was deafening as the monster vanished into nothingness. Andrew brushed off the dirt from himself and then glared up at the cameras from behind his mask as the world about him faded into digital frames and then into a simple black room made up of octagons.  Dr. Ellouise shook her head as she went to meet Andrew outside the training simulator.

Dr. Elouise: He still has much to learn..


[ Episode ends as the doctor turns and leaves the room, the starting credits roll and theme music plays.]
